Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence 
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons 
• Check surveillance cameras and respond to suspicious activity 
• Investigate and report any irregularities (e.g., suspicious persons, security breaches, hazards) 
• Provide assistance to people in need 
• Enforce rules and company policies to maintain a safe environment 
• Write reports of daily surveillance activity and irregularities 
• Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 18 years of age 
• Must have a valid driver’s license or State ID 
• Reliable Transportation 
• Be dependable and trustworthy 
• Pass a background check and drug screen 
• Good communication skills; verbal and written 
• Ability to walk or sit for extended periods of time 
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
